Containerised, secure storage arranged for a few days or several months — including same-day, when a completion falls through at the worst moment.
Storage is usually not something people plan for. It becomes necessary at about eleven in the morning on the day a completion slips, or when the dates at either end of a chain refuse to line up and there is a fortnight in the middle with nowhere for a household to live.
We arrange containerised, fully secure storage for exactly that gap, and we can do it at short notice — including same day if a completion falls through. Our main partner is Rockfarm Storage in Wheatley Hill, though we may use an alternative depending on where you are based. Every facility we work with is vetted for security and insurance before we put a customer's belongings in it.
It is worth being straight about how the arrangement works, because it is different from the rest of what we do. The storage contract is directly between you and the storage facility, and your goods are covered by their insurance rather than ours while they are stored. We handle the arrangement and the transport at both ends. If you are storing anything high in value, check the cover level with the facility directly rather than assuming.

Worth knowing before you book
The things that most often change a job on the day. We would rather they were on this page than a conversation on your doorstep.
- The storage contract is between you and the facility, not between you and us. Your goods are covered by their insurance while stored, so check the cover level directly if anything is high in value.
- Our main partner is Rockfarm Storage in Wheatley Hill, but we may use a different vetted facility depending on where you are based — we will tell you which before anything moves.
- Where a move goes into storage because the chain collapsed, you do not lose your deposit. The second move out of storage is charged, but at a discounted rate — typically around half the original.
- The prohibited list applies to storage as it does to transit: no fuels, gas cylinders, corrosive chemicals, fireworks, or perishable and frozen food.
Storage questions
Yes, including same day. Where a delay looks like running past about four hours, or far enough into the evening that we could not finish safely, we will talk to you about taking your belongings into secure storage overnight and delivering the next day. It is worth a phone call the moment you know there is a problem rather than at the end of the afternoon.
The facility's, not ours. The storage contract is directly between you and the storage provider, and their policy is what covers your goods while they are stored. We arrange it and we handle the transport at both ends, and we only work with facilities we would use ourselves — but if you are storing something high in value, confirm the cover level with the facility directly.
