Take the stress
out of moving day

Our own crew, our own vans, and a fixed price in writing before we lift a thing. Build your move online — where, what and when — and your price appears as you answer.

How it works

Four steps, and you're booked

No site visit, no waiting for a callback — a real price before you close the tab, on a date you picked yourself.

01

Get your price

Fixed, from the online form — or send us the details by phone or WhatsApp. You pick the date and time.

02

We check it over

Your booking comes straight to us. We accept it, or come back with a couple of questions first.

03

Secure your date

You get a confirmation with a payment link. A 30% deposit holds the day.

04

Leave the rest to us

We handle the move from start to finish.

On the day

Then all you have to do
is open the door

The date's yours and the deposit's paid. Here's the whole of what's left.

  1. On the morning

The team arrives in your window

You picked the date and the time when you booked, and the crew turns up inside that window and gets going. No waiting in all day for a van that might come.

  2. Through the day

Your things are wrapped, strapped and carried properly

Furniture goes into blankets and is strapped down for the drive. Indoors the team wear clean gloves, and shoe covers wherever you'd rather they did — so your carpets look the same at the end of the day as they did at the start.

    • Moving blankets
    • Straps and ties
    • Clean gloves
    • Shoe covers on request
  3. When it's done

Settle the balance and that's the move

Your 30% deposit already went in when you booked. Once the last thing is off the van and where you want it, the rest is paid there and then — cash or card, whichever's easier.

and that's it — you haven't lifted a thing.

How we price

Two ways to price your move.
You pick which.

Give us the details and we'll price the whole job as one fixed number, so there's nothing to settle on the day. For smaller, simpler jobs, an hourly rate is there if you'd rather keep it flexible.

Fixed price

One number for
the whole job

Tell us what's moving, the properties at both ends and the access we'll have. We price the job from that — the crew and the van it needs, the stairs, the floors and the carry are all worked into the one number you're quoted.

  • Everything the job needs is priced in from the start
  • The number you accept is the number you pay
  • Nothing to work out or agree on the day

Your price is built from your answers, so the fuller the picture you give us, the firmer it is.

Hourly rate

Or book the crew
by the hour

For smaller, simpler jobs — a few items, a single room, a short run across town — you can pay for the time you use instead. Useful when the job is hard to pin down in advance, or you'd simply rather keep the day flexible.

  • Suits small and straightforward jobs
  • You pay for the time the job takes
  • Handled with the same care as any other move

You'll know the hourly rate before you book — what varies is how long the job takes.

Moving further afield?

We do full UK removals as well as local ones. A long-distance move is planned door to door before the day — one crew loads you in the North East and the same crew unloads you at the other end, so nothing is handed over to a stranger halfway down the country.

Questions

Before you book

Three ways, whichever suits you. Fill in the online form and your price builds as you answer — we pencil in your date, check the job over by hand and come back within two hours, and a 30% deposit then holds the day. Or send us a WhatsApp with a few photos or a short video walkthrough and one of our team will price it and book you in. Or simply call us and we'll talk it through.

Both — you choose which suits your move.

Fixed price is the calmer option and we'd recommend it for anything complicated: larger homes, moves involving dismantling and reassembly, or any completion day where you're waiting on keys. The day is yours, the crew takes no other job, and the price doesn't move — including if your keys arrive hours late. There's no waiting charge on a fixed-price booking.

Hourly often works out cheaper for smaller, straightforward jobs — a few items, no dismantling, easy access. There's a two-hour minimum, waiting time is charged after the first 30 minutes, and we may have another job scheduled that day.

Yes, 30% of the quoted price, and your date isn't held until it reaches us. The balance is due on completion of the move, unless we've agreed something different in writing beforehand.

We give an arrival window rather than a single fixed time, so that traffic and the unexpected don't turn a five-minute delay into a broken promise. If we're running behind, you'll hear from us — you shouldn't ever be left wondering where we are.

Yes. We carry £5 million public liability insurance and £20,000 goods in transit cover per claim, and we're happy to provide evidence of either on request.

If you're on a fixed-price booking, we wait — no clock, no charge, no matter how long the solicitors take. That's the whole point of the fixed price, and it's why we recommend it for any move that depends on a key release. The crew takes no other job that day, so there's nothing to rush off to.

On hourly bookings, the first 30 minutes of waiting are included, after which waiting is charged at £21 plus VAT per 30 minutes, with a 10-minute grace period inside each. We charge it because a crew and a van standing still still cost us money, not because we're hoping you'll be late. If you tell us the time you expect your keys, the clock runs from then rather than from our arrival.

If you know your move hinges on a completion, go fixed. It'll be the calmer day.
